Our Story
6227 Ranch was created when we realized there were just not enough options for the horse community to receive education and help. Josie had been training horses for the public the past few years specializing in mustangs, colt starting, and troubled horses. Through this there were some consistent problems that would arise. People with good intentions were simply unaware of how much time, money, and knowledge it may take to rehab a horse both mentally and physically, as well as a limited amount of information on how to work with a troubled or “difficult horse". This would leave the horse and human unhelped. We want to provide a place for people to learn about horses in a welcoming environment through offering, volunteer work, clinics, seminars, training, rescue/rehab, and more.
